Why these products

01 · Research

Finance started as a problem I already had.

Market evidence arrives through different sources, formats and calendars. The work is not finished when a report is written, because a filing changes, a claim goes stale or the next market opens. I built the data tools first, then a local research system that could preserve the case.

02 · Operations

Commerce exposed the same structural problem.

A small seller can have orders, inventory, fees and product identities split across several channels. The useful question is not how much data exists. It is which mismatch needs a decision and whether the source trail still holds.

Operating background

Work before software

My background is in finance and running businesses, including serving as a CEO in renewable-energy construction. That experience changes where I start. I look for the repeated decision, the source record behind it and the person who has to trust the result.

AI makes it possible for one operator to build across product, data and interface work. It does not remove the need to understand the job or test the result. That division of labour is the basis of Phoenix Tree AI.

Operating rules

What a one-person company changes

01

A screenshot is not a release

Installation, first run, real inputs and the evidence path have to work before a product moves out of development.

02

A public number needs a source

Repository counts on this page are checked against GitHub. Product claims are checked against their current build records.

03

One person means one accountable inbox

There is no sales handoff or support queue. It also means scope has to stay narrow and some work will be declined.
