Who we are

Phoenix Tree AI is a company based in Hong Kong, founded and operated by Simon Lin. You can reach us at simonlin0423@gmail.com.

What this website collects

This site has no accounts, no login, no comment box and no tracking pixels. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not sell or share anything with data brokers.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes standard request information such as IP address, user agent and requested URL in order to deliver pages and block abuse. That processing is described in Cloudflare's own privacy documentation.

If you email us

We receive whatever you choose to put in the message, together with your email address. We use it to answer you and to carry out any work you go on to commission. We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for that relationship, and you can ask us to delete it at any time by replying to any message from us.

Client work

During a custom build we may be given access to systems belonging to your business. Three commitments apply to that access.

  • Product application data is designed to stay local unless a written scope explicitly says otherwise.
  • We look at what we need in order to build the thing you asked for, and nothing else.
  • Access is handed back or revoked when the engagement ends. You control it throughout.

Where your AI provider processes data on your behalf, their terms govern that processing. We can point you to the relevant documents before you connect anything.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to simonlin0423@gmail.com and we will answer within thirty days.

Open source

The current public repositories carry their own licences. The Phoenix Tree products are not publicly released yet. Their intended local-first and open-source model will be documented at release, including any telemetry or network behaviour.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
